The laboratories of Dr Patrick Eyers and Professor Claire Eyers evaluate human phosphoproteomes using a variety of approaches, including biochemistry, transcriptomiccs, chemical biology and mass spectrometry. We are looking for an experienced cell signalling or MS-based phosphoproteomics researcher to lead a North West Cancer Research (NWCR) funded project to evaluate the Polo-like kinase 4 signalling pathway and its role in cancer. You will have a PhD in Biochemistry, Pharmacology or a related biological science, a strong interest in protein phosphorylation, and demonstrable knowledge and experience of mass spectrometry for cell signalling analysis. The post is available immediately for 1 year initially, with the possibility of a 2 year extension.
